Support and Shelter for Survivors

At Margie’s Haven House, we provide 24/7 emergency shelter, crisis support, advocacy, and practical resources for victims of domestic violence and their children.

Our services include safety planning, court advocacy, case management, supportive listening, community referrals, and help rebuilding stability after abuse.

We are here to offer safety in a time of crisis and continued support as survivors move forward.

Our Story

Margie’s Haven House began in August 1989 with the courage and vision of Margie, a survivor of domestic violence who believed victims and their children needed a safe place to turn. With the help of dedicated women and strong community support, that vision grew into a grassroots effort to raise awareness, secure resources, and open a shelter for those experiencing abuse.

Today, Margie’s Haven House continues Margie’s mission by providing 24/7 emergency shelter, crisis support, advocacy, case management, and practical resources for victims of domestic violence and abuse and their children. What began as one woman’s vision for safety has become a trusted source of support for survivors seeking stability, dignity, and a path forward.
